Business Development Manager: “Since childhood, Steve McDonald displayed a keen interest in dismantling and reassembling objects. His journey began at the age of 7 when he received his first toolbox and began learning construction skills from his step-father, who worked in roofing and construction. Over the years, Steve honed his skills, mastering tasks ranging from drywall and electrical work to woodwork, painting, plumbing, and general repairs. Renowned for his strong work ethic, Steve pursued a degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in Communications Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations, complemented by a minor in Speech. Even while studying, he juggled a full-time job as a dock worker at Roadway Express and managed a Perkin’s Family Restaurant.
After graduating in 2000, Steve embarked on a successful 20-year career in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, garnering numerous accomplishments and awards for his dedication and hard work. In 2021, Steve and his wife Kaya embarked on a new adventure, opening the thriving permanent make-up and esthetician business, Glamorous36, in Largo, renting space from Whole Development’s affiliate company Retail Property Management owner David McComas. As Steve and David’s relationship flourished, so did their understanding of how they could mutually benefit each other and their clientele.
In 2024, Steve joined Whole Development as their Business Development Manager, aiming to deepen the company’s presence in the commercial construction sector. His appointment builds on his existing relationship with David McComas, reflecting his commitment to expanding the business and delivering exceptional results.”
